I’m better now.

I’m still a tad bit bitter, but after talking to Jan, I’m slowly getting over it.

She was just as amazed by my mom’s statement as I was. More so because just before Christmas they had gone shopping for new linens and she said that all the bed coverings that Mom looked at were pieced, quilted tops.

I’ve decided to keep it and use it in the guest room.

And told her that if she was lucky, I just might consider letting her sleep under it the next time she comes to visit.

STT said I should have her look at the yarn and pattern I picked out for a stole for her Mother’s day present before I start knitting it.
