Back to school Sit n Knit

Monday is the first day of school for my baby. At least last year when Frick went, I had Frack to distract me and get ice cream with. This year I’ll be all alone.
So in an attempt to stay sober until the bus arrives, I’ve decided to host a sit n knit for those of you in my boat.
Be it the first time you let your babies go, or the joy that comes with doing this for many years, you are welcome to come by the shop, Monday 25 August anytime from 9:30 to 2.
I’ll be the one there crying into my sock…

Cabin Fever

I finished a washcloth this morning for a Ravelry swap.
It’s due out today.

If I can actually get out of the house, it’ll be a big accomplishment!

I haven’t left the house since Monday.

I’m getting closer

Things here have been the usual chaotic mess that is my world. You would think that it would taper off a bit. But it is not to be so.

In my avoidance of reality, I’ve gotten much knitting done!
I’m at the halfway point.

After this, I can cast on the Adamas shawl for my BSG KAL.
